30-210 Safety and Accountability in Medication Administration
This course focuses on developing the knowledge,
skills, and attitudes necessary for the safe and accountable administration of
medications across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on accurate dosage
calculation, proper administration techniques, and accurate documentation
resulting in an outcome of safe and accountable medication
administration. Didactic and experiential laboratory experiences are
based on the authentic nature of medication administration.

Second semester Sophomore Nursing major status or first semester Accelerated Nursing major status and consent of the College of Nursing and Health Professions.
