Social Analysis
Social Analysis is a minor designed to help students understand and navigate social, professional, and political interactions in today’s world, making them better prepared to become collaborators in their communities and places of employment. The coursework includes focuses on gender differences, conflict resolution, the labor market, and workplace behavior, in addition to courses on the formation of opinions, political/community participation, and deviance from social norms.
This minor is designed to complement other majors and will be useful to any student wishing to cooperate successfully with others in society and in the workplace. This minor is administered jointly by the Departments of Political Science and Sociology. It is offered only through The School for Professional and Continuing Education.
