This program trains professionals to protect air transportation centers, passengers, and cargo. The Aviation Security major focuses on understanding (1) aviation, airports and air travel well enough to know where security issues, including terrorism, are likely to arise; (2) the laws, policies, procedures and systems that impact response to security issues; and (3) best practices for insuring security and responding to security concerns in aviation.
