Social Analysis / Minor
Minor Credit Hours: 15
Students who complete this 15-credit minor will be able to understand and navigate social, professional, and political interactions in today’s world, making them better prepared to become collaborators in their communities and places of employment. The coursework includes focuses on gender differences, conflict resolution, the labor market, and workplace behavior, in addition to courses on the formation of opinions, political/community participation, and deviance from social norms. This minor is designed to complement other majors and be useful to any student wishing to successfully cooperate with others in modern society and in the workplace. Two upper-division courses and one other course in this minor may not be used to fulfill the requirements of another program.
