Teacher Leader Endorsement

The Teacher Leader Endorsement will be available through the Department of Educational Leadership pending approval of the Illinois State Educator Preparation and Licensure Board and the Illinois State Board of Education. The program is tentatively scheduled for a fall 2013 start. This endorsement is designed to assist educators in their role as leaders with responsibilities to improve teaching and learning.  This endorsement is for positions such as deans, curriculum leaders, team leaders, department chairs, etc. It will be a 24 credit hour program leading to an endorsement with the potential of earning a Master's Degree in Educational  Leadership based on successfully completing extended coursework.
