Aviation Maintenance Technology Certificate

Total Credit Hours: 65-66

The Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate is the heart of all maintenance degree programs. The A&P curriculum consists of 17 FAA-approved courses taken over four semesters with a total of 1,950 to 1,965 contact hours and 65 to 66 credit hours. A student in this program should plan to attend classes an average of 34 hours per week. The curriculum can be completed in 15 months by attending summer sessions (when offered) or, without summer sessions, in 21 months.
