One semester of 14-182 Applied Piano is required of all Music Merchandising majors.

14-xxx: Pianists may choose to take all four semesters of applied music as piano.

II. The advanced writing requirement is met by Music Merchandising majors by the successful completion of 14-311 Music History I and 14-312 Music History II.

III. Comprehensive examinations in Music theory and history are required by the department for graduation. The capstone course, 14-497 Music Seminar, offered online, is designed to prepare Music Merchandising majors for these examinations.
