30-330 Health Promotion Across the Lifespan I

Theoretical foundations and current literature related to health promotion and disease prevention are examined for application to practice. Course focus is on assessment, screening, and the application of evidence-based health promotion activities for individuals and populations from diverse communities. Course topics include Healthy People 2020 and factors related to health care disparities among vulnerable populations.
