This first course of a two-semester interdisciplinary study of culture and civilization covers prehistoric times to 1500 in a world context.
This course covers the period from 1500 to the present in a world context.
Students examine contemporary U.S. social, economic and political history, with focus on the Cold War and its end, the Civil Rights movement and current issues.
