30-201 Foundations of Professional Nursing

This course introduces the beginning nursing student to the profession of nursing and the multiple roles of the contemporary professional nurse. The student will explore the historical development and current status of the profession as well as role expectations related to provider of care, manager of care, and member of the nursing profession.

Second-semester Sophomore Nursing major status and consent of the College of Nursing and Health Professions.
